The budgie, short for budgerigar, occurs naturally in the wild as green with black and yellow specks on its back. It has been bred to a myriad colourations in captivity, resulting in the blue, white, yellow and many other different colours of budgies that are reared as house pets. It is naturally found in the Australian outback but has been introduced to several other parts of the world.
This birb shaker design came to life from paper sketch to acrylic blank, and finally to pouring my very own molds! Inspired by birds of the world, it is also currently exclusively available only at Lunaliliputian.
This is a blue budgie with an ombre white-blue resin pour, on a mint bejewelled grip. The wings and face have small painted on. The piece has also been coated in blue shimmering micro-powder, giving it a subtle sparkle all over.
Studded with swarovski crystals and assorted sparkly appliques. The bottom of this grip has fuzzy grass too!
Every piece of craft is meticulously handmade by Lunaliliputian, and packaged in lovely boxes that can be repurposed for keeping other trinkets.
PSA: Once my grip supply has been exhausted, I will no longer be offering grips in my store.
