Scientific Name: Felis lybica
The African Wild Cat is a species of wild cat native to Africa and parts of Asia. It has a pale brown coat and distinctive striped markings on its face of 2 stripes along its cheeks. Although many species of wildcats look similar, the African Wild Cat differs from the European wildcat in its stripes being more subtle, its fur being shorter and size being smaller overall.
This is an African Wild Cat shaker charm with intricately hand-painted markings, soft shading of colour all around the charm and gently blushed for extra cuteness. Every wild cat charm is matched with a standing cat-shaped keychain, and a mixture of beads including genuine picture jasper bead, special pearlescent and bronze coloured beads and polished crystal beads. Complete with a matching leopard print mini puff ball. The charms have also been glazed all around the sides for an extra polished feel.
Every wild cat is individually painted with love and care, and like in the wild, not all of them will look exactly the same. I hope this series will ignite your curiosity in wild cats of the world!
