This is a super cute round little song birb with a rather large head dipped in matcha powder. It is common across several parts of Asia as a domestic pet but has also expanded its range to parts of America, including Hawaii. Though cute, this hardy birb has assimilated so comfortably into foreign lands that local birds are having trouble keeping up! It is probably hard to control their population because they are just too cute.
This is a mini painting of a Japanese white-eye encased in sparkly gold resin. Looking closely, you can observe the feathery-fine strokes beneath the shimmer. Set on a sparkly bejewelled pink base that has been sprinkled with iridescent glitter. Topped off with Swarovski crystals and assorted gold embellishments and acrylic flowers.
This birb shaker design came to life from paper sketch to acrylic blank, and finally to pouring my very own molds! Inspired by birds of the world, it is also currently exclusively available only at Lunaliliputian.
