Celebrate Tanabata safely at home! Write a wish on the back of this wish card charm which reads "Onegai" in front. "Onegai" means 'wish' or 'hope' in Japanese. These Tanzaku charms have been designed to be simple but vibrant, dangling from a single knot Mizuhiki made from ribbon with Japanese-style prints, accompanied by a chain of cute matching beads.

The charms also glow in the dark & have been filled with glowing glitter and an assortment of Kawaii inclusions like stars, flowers and sprinkles.

Tanabata is the Summer festival which celebrates the reunion of two star-crossed celestial lovers that meet only one day every year. During this festival, people write their wishes on pieces of colorful paper and hang them from bamboo stalks, believing this would bring the wishes straight up to the heavens for divine invocation.

Do note that these craft pieces are entirely handmade and may present with little flaws. Lots of love and attention has gone into creating these and trying to make them as perfect as possible so I hope you will enjoy them regardless of their imperfections ♥️
