Kitsune masks in Japanese culture represent contradicting behaviours of benevolence or malevolence - like that of a crafty fox. The fox is also believed to be the protector of rice, agriculture and fertility. There are different styles of fox masks, painted to represent different elements and hold different meanings. They have also taken various different designs in popular culture.
Here is my own interpretation of the Kitsune mask - a fox/bunny hybrid with slightly bigger ears and bold markings. Each mask is cast from an original mold, individually painted and decorated, and finished with swarovski crystal accents and a clover knot loop.
